Is the system compliant with South African tax law?
Yes. The system automatically calculates PAYE, UIF and SDL according to current SARS rates. It generates EMP201 monthly returns and IRP5 annual certificates that are ready to submit to SARS. We update the system whenever tax tables change so you are always compliant.
Can employees apply for leave themselves?
Yes. On Business and Enterprise plans, employees have their own self-service portal where they can view payslips, apply for leave, check leave balances and update personal details. Managers receive instant notifications to approve or decline requests.
How are payslips delivered to employees?
Payslips are emailed directly to each employee's email address automatically after the payroll run is approved. Employees can also access and download all historical payslips from their self-service portal at any time.
Can the system handle different pay structures?
Yes. You can create multiple pay grades and structures for different employee types — permanent staff, part-time workers, contractors and commission-based employees. Each structure handles its own allowances, deductions and overtime rules.
