What is LTE?
LTE stands for long-term evolution which is a wireless broadband Internet connectivity service that provides high-speed data transmission for mobile devices and home Internet use.
How to activate your LTE service?
After successful delivery and RICA verification your product can take up to 2 working days to activate and is triggered by the SIM card being inserted into the router. You don’t need to call to check in, the process is automatic.
What documents do you need for RICA?
You need the following original documents to successfully complete RICA verification. You will need to present these documents to take delivery of your LTE Sim card. You need the following in the name of the Mweb account holder. You need the following in the name of the Mweb account holder: Your ID document, Proof of address dated not older than 3 months. Proof of address documents include: Utility bills, cell phone accounts, store accounts. No Mweb accounts will be accepted
Do I need to sign up for a contract?
We don’t like contracts. Which is why our MTN Fixed LTE services are offered on a month-to-month basis.
